Pass2Me Verification

What does "verified" mean? This term applies to recognized college officials for our membership service; Pass2Me verifies the identity of the individual through email/phone contact.

Fan Pages & Group Pages

To create a Fan Page or Group Page, you must create a User Profile first. Then go to the My Network section of your User Profile to create, manage and search for Fan and Group Pages.

Fan Pages are open sign-up, allowing anyone to join. All information on Fan Pages are public. These are ideal for entities, individuals, or events providing primarily one-way communications and updates to fans and supporters in an effort to build a strong following.
Group Pages are invitation or request only sign-up and require confirmation from the Admin to allow membership. These pages are ideal for teams, professional groups, coaching forums, etc. where membership is restricted to selected users.

Fan and Group Page Terms of Use

Before creating a fan or group page ("Fan Page") on www.pass2me.com (the "Website"), users must accept the Pass2Me General Terms of Use ("General Terms") [www.pass2me.com/terms] and Privacy Policy [www.pass2me.com/privacy]. If you choose to create a Fan Page through the Website, pursuant to the General Terms, you are required to abide by the following provisions :

(a) You may only administer a Fan Page if you are an authorized representative of the subject of the Fan Page, and you hereby represent and warrant you are authorized to enter into this Agreement on behalf of such subject.

(b) You may not establish any terms beyond those set forth in this Agreement, except you may disclose the types of content you will remove from your Fan Page and grounds for which you may ban a user from accessing the Fan Page.

(c) You will restrict access to your Fan Page in order to comply with all applicable laws. For example, if your Fan Page includes content only suitable for adults, you will not allow minors to access your Fan Page.

Access our premium College Services through the College tab section of your profile.

The Pass2Me College Profile

Through extensive research, Pass2Me has created a college profile with information fields carefully selected to be useful to colleges in the recruiting process. Completing the form as thoroughly as possible helps a college coach get a better overall picture of you as a student and an athlete.

Services & Pricing

Membership
Membership makes your college profile accessible to all verified college officials.

When you activate your Membership, you will receive a message in your Inbox notifying you that your profile is now available for verified college officials to view.

Note: Membership gives colleges access to your information. We do not guarantee a college scholarship, acceptance to a university program or contact from any coach. We are only providing access for college coaches to view your profile information. Users are responsible for initiating or maintaining or returning contact with coaches.

Pricing - $9.95/month
No minimum contract but once you begin a 30-day period, your fee for that month is non-refundable.

College Selector
The College Selector enables you to narrow down your search for colleges that match your preferences according to eight (8) different kinds of criteria. You may submit your preferences anytime and multiple times and will receive notice of a list matching your selection criteria within 24 hours.

When you submit your preferences for Selector, you will receive a message in your Inbox with the list of colleges based on the preferences you selected.

Note: Statistics for each university or college are based on publicly available information that is as current as possible. There may be some slight variability with what various sources report in terms of numerical metrics. This list is of schools that may be a good match for your aptitude and interests based on the information you provide through our Selector search function. We suggest you conduct further research based on our suggestions as this list is based on limited criteria and information.

Pricing - $4.95/submission
Each time you submit your preferences for a Selector list of colleges, you will pay this fee. You may submit as many times as you like.

No Results?
It is possible that the search may yield zero (0) colleges that fit within your parameters. If this is the case, we will inform you, as this is valuable information and may help your search process. We will also name 2 colleges that are similar to your selected criteria but did not fall in the exact range you selected.

Pass2Me Verified College Officials

Verified college officials are representatives (coaches, staff, etc.) of college soccer programs who have had their identity confirmed by Pass2Me.

Using the Inbox

Our Inbox function allows players and college officials to contact each other without having to leave the Pass2Me site. Players and coaches can utilize the Inbox function without having to be a member of the other person’s “My Network.” This allows players and coaches to keep their private profile information separate from their college profile. Messages in the Inbox have the “Verified Seal” if the person contacting you is a Pass2Me Verified College Official. To contact someone who is not your Friend through the Inbox, visit their Profile page and click 'Send Message' from the 'User Options' box on the left. Once you start a message string, or they become your friend, you can continue contacting someone directly through your Inbox.

Advice & Tips (Make the most of Pass2Me College Services):

1. How to find and contact College Coaches. Search coaches by name using our Search function (upper right hand corner of every Pass2Me page). Use your Inbox to contact this coach.
   
   
2. Why initiate contact with College coaches? Due to NCAA rules, College coaches cannot initiate contact with players until after July 1 following the player’s junior year of high school. However, they can return contact after Sept 1 at the beginning of the player’s junior year. Players can contact coaches anytime and coaches can look at their profile without contacting them back. Additionally, College coaches get a massive amount of potential players through large databases. Contacting a coach through their inbox is a great way to introduce yourself. Do not be concerned if they do not contact you back. They can also contact your coach/reference if they are interested.
   
   
3. Maintain flexibility with your College preferences. Try to maintain a certain degree of flexibility in terms of preferences so that you do not exclude any potential colleges that may be interested in you and may be an option that you have not considered. We suggest checking more than one box whenever possible with regards to preferences. Especially early on in your college search, it will help keep a good range of schools available and interested in you. For instance, some people believe they can only attain competitive play and scholarships at NCAA Division I schools, but some Div III programs are stronger than some Div I schools and also offer academic scholarships.
   
   
4. Make sure your Profile is complete and clear. The more information and the better the information that the coaches have on you, the better the assessment they can make of your fit for their school.
   
   
5. Keep your Pass2Me Membership current. Colleges can and will search for players anytime so we encourage you to keep your account active and up to date.
   
   
6. Use Pass2Me’s Selector tool to help you with your college search. By narrowing down your search to a set of colleges that fall within your preference guidelines, you can identify and contact specific coaches to express your interest. It will help you focus and streamline your college search and recruiting process.

Privacy Settings (Control what info Colleges can view)

You may want to check your privacy settings on your user profile to optimize this service.

• In order for colleges to be able to find you in our database (and make contact with you), you need to be “searchable” in our system.
  
  
• Once you have submitted your college profile, it is available for viewing by all verified college officials.
  
  
• Although members of your “My Network” cannot see the College tab (unless they are verified college officials), College officials can see your entire profile if you have decided to make it public (i.e. if you have chosen the "Everyone" privacy setting).
  
  
• To restrict colleges from viewing the entirety of your profile, select “My Network” as the privacy setting for any non-College category you want to reserve for viewing by “My Network” members only.

BY USING THE MEMBERSHIP SERVICE IN ANY MANNER, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ARE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THESE MEMBERSHIP TERMS IN ADDITION TO THE PASS2ME GENERAL TERMS OF USE [www.pass2me.com/terms] (“GENERAL TERMS”), WHICH ARE HEREBY INCORPORATED INTO THIS AGREEMENT BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND THE GENERAL TERMS, YOU SHALL NOT USE THE MEMBERSHIP SERVICE OR THE WEBSITE.    All payments for the Membership Service will be processed through PayPal. You (or your parent or guardian, if you are under 18) hereby expressly acknowledge and agree that you have read and agree to be bound by all of PayPal’s terms and conditions, including without limitation the PayPal User Agreement and the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy.
3. PRIVACY.
   When you enroll in the Membership Service, you will be prompted to enter certain information under the "College" tab of www.pass2me.com. This information will be made available to all users who Company has verified as college or university officials ("Officials"). Do not enter any information under the "College" tab which you do not want Officials to see. You may add or remove information under the "College" tab at any time, in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy [www.pass2me.com/privacy]. If you are under 18, you may not disclose any information without the express consent of your parent or guardian. For more information on privacy, please read our Privacy Policy [www.pass2me.com/privacy] carefully.

COLLEGE SELECTOR ADDITIONAL TERMS OF USE

THESE COLLEGE SELECTOR TERMS OF USE ("COLLEGE SELECTOR TERMS") ARE ADDITIONAL TERMS THAT APPLY TO THE COLLEGE SELECTOR SERVICES (THE “SELECTOR SERVICE”) OFFERED BY COMPANY. BY USING THE SELECTOR SERVICE IN ANY MANNER, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ARE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THESE COLLEGE SELECTOR TERMS IN ADDITION TO THE PASS2ME GENERAL TERMS OF USE [www.pass2me.com/terms] (“GENERAL TERMS”), WHICH ARE HEREBY INCORPORATED INTO THIS AGREEMENT BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE COLLEGE SELECTOR TERMS AND THE GENERAL TERMS, YOU SHALL NOT USE THE SELECTOR SERVICE OR THE WEBSITE. You acknowledge that Company has no control over, and no duty to take any action regarding: which users gains access to the Services; what Content you accesses via the Services; what effects the Content may have on you; how you may interpret or use the Content; or what actions you may take as a result of having been exposed to the Content. You release Company from all liability for you having acquired or not acquired Content through the Services. The Services may contain, or direct you to websites containing, information that some people may find offensive or inappropriate.
